My recent stay at Calabona Hotel in Alghero left me with mixed feelings about its value proposition. The hotel's strategic location, just a short ride from the town center, and the helpful staff made for a pleasant experience. The highlight for me was the well-maintained swimming pool and private beach, perfect for a relaxing day under the sun.While the room was clean and well-equipped with amenities such as a small safe, the overall value did not match the price point. The lack of certain facilities like a children's pool and the simplicity of the breakfast left something to be desired. The extra charges for services like laundry and car hire added up quickly, making me question the overall financial wisdom of choosing this hotel.
