As a family, our stay at Calabona was a mixed bag but overall worth the cost. The hotel's location might not be ideal, but the free shuttle to the lively old town was a convenient perk for us. The historical center of Alghero is a pleasant 15- to 20-minute walk along the seaside promenade, perfect for evening strolls with the kids. The friendly staff, especially at the pool, made our stay enjoyable, and the clean pool area was a hit with our family. Breakfast offered a good selection, catering to both kids and adults. The rooms were decent, though the bathrooms could use some sprucing up. The relaxed vibe of the hotel allowed us to unwind and enjoy our family vacation. We appreciated the efforts made to make our stay comfortable and inclusive, making it a family-friendly choice.
